Doug Braden

Douglas Braden works with Excel Mortgage Brokers in northern Colorado and is licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming. Doug has worked as an owner and manager of mortgage companies over his career and became a NAMB National Certified Veterans Loan Specialist in 2019. He has been voted Broker of the Year by his peers in the mortgage Association of Colorado in 2007 and Mortgage Professional of the year in 2016 and 2019. Mr. Braden is a veteran of the mortgage industry and is an FHA/VA, USDA, HECM, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lender, with over 42 years of Mortgage Broker/Banker origination experience. Mr. Braden is committed to his customers and his industry and has served on multiple local and national committees, Task Forces and legislative action groups on behalf of the mortgage industry and consumers, to ensure that safe affordable mortgage products can play their part in the American dream of homeownership.
