HELLO! My name is Kristen Clifton. I am a licensed mortgage broker for the state of Colorado at Excel Financial Group. I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Fort Collins. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Business and Sociology. Before switching careers to the mortgage industry, I was in the restaurant industry for 16 years, where I managed and bartended multiple restaurants here in Fort Collins. While in the restaurant business, I learned to carry myself with true professionalism during the most stressful situations and have carried these attributes over to my new profession. I am a wife and mother of 3, extremely family-oriented, and enjoy going to the gym in my free time.
